The soothing sounds of a typewriter, the whispering of a fountain pen, and the rustle of an old notebook are the soundtrack of my childhood. I dreamt of emulating my mother's writing and adventurous spirit, my grandfather's artistic prowess, and my great-grandpapa's photographic skills and influence. I wished to embrace the grace of my great-grandmother, and harboured a dream of living in London, a dream my grandmother had for me. My family, with their love and support, has been the root of my curiosity, creativity and dreams. This exact skillset has guided me on my path to becoming a fashion designer, a well-travelled explorer, an exhibiting artist and photographer, and a magazine editor. The magic of my journey is shaped by family photo albums that capture moments, notebooks that outline my routines, journals that highlight victories and lessons from failures, and sketchbooks that visualize my dreams. These 'analogue' objects remain integral to my daily routine and artistry, providing a medium for my self-expression and joy. My work is an extension of my passion, and I'm excited to share it with you, hoping it brings you a sense of wellbeing and satisfaction. — Kate Coe Temnomeroff
